Madeleine/Leng

Have your parents ever called you by any other name than what they usually call you? In my case, my dad called me Madeleine instead of Leng. Weird eh?

My uncle calls me Siu Leng, some relatives which I don't see everyday calls me Madeleine, my grandaunt calls me Leng Leng, and my family calls me Leng. So why the heck did my dad call me Madeleine? Imbalanced edi la!

It started a week ago. He called me Madeleine for I dunno what reason. Then on Tuesday he called me again because he's going somewhere. Then today called me that 4 times. What's up, seriously?! He's not angry or anything, and he only called me by my full name once in my lifetime and he wasn't angry then as well! So what's really up????

I've got this feeling he had some sudden realisation or something... And I doubt it's because he realised my name starts with Madeleine =.=

This is as weird as waking up to find yourself made out of tasty chocolates.
And erm, I dunno why I said that.. Maybe cuz I've a sudden craving for chocolates?

You know that I know that we know that blogs usually states the date of a blog post but I'm pretty sure that you're quite sure that I am clueless on a title so then we know that you know that I know that readers know that I posted the date because I'm having title's block...

Well anyway, exams are tomorrow ( boo sama dia! ) and we have add maths, civic and P.E. papers tomorrow ( double boo ). Everyone's been studying their ass off on add maths and I'm the sesat one studying Sejarah today.. And erm, here I am blogging/speeddating/msning/facebooking/goyang kaki-ing like I've all the time in the world. Way to go Madd!

Kinda moody today even in school. Maybe cuz my friends aren't around and everyone's having pre-exam anxiety. Ah... Love is definitely annoying the heck out of me but I'm just trying to get through it ( with music this time! ) and focus on studies instead. Scouts stuff is also worrying me... Hmmm... Oh ya, working too worries me!

Yeap yeap, I'm planning to work this holiday.. I thought of working in my uncle's place but I keep forgetting to ask him and what's worst, I remembered today but he went off earlier than expected... ( tambah to my already no mood, mood ) Damn! Oh well, just need to wait for next Thursday or call him... Working's gonna be a problem tho, as I've scouts stuff during the hols.. Yikes! =X

2 weeks of exam I can handle, but 2 weeks of studying subjects I'm not interested in is ( censored! ). Aaaahahahahaha. Geram betul with Yuet May. Happily away in China and her sister doesn't allow her to buy souvenirs for us.. Kedekut betul =.=

Hairstyles

Random and boring post, don't read it if you don't want to ;)

There seems to be a wide range of hairstyles nowadays, from emo to bangs to lala to bob and etc. I don't even know what style I have now ( bangs or lala? ).

Mada wants a boyish cut ( girl a,go get pointers from Chia Chi or Pinky instead of asking people like me or Fong Yee Ling -.-' ), Yuet May got her hair cut short, Wai Yan wants to cut hers shorter cuz its curly ( but its not curly =.= ) and Wendy's is like my old cut; emo.

I got thumbs up from my family for this current cut but my aunt said I might look better if my hair is cut short. Yikes! I think it'll be a disaster as my hair tends to get frizzy when cut shorter. Conclusion? I'll keep it below my shoulders and with bangs.

My dear ( but not so dear ) friend King Ee said my hair's thick. Wow dude, thanks for finally noticing after 2 months of knowing me xD Great.. Another reminder that my hair genes aren't inherited from both my parents...

Actually I did this post as i was wondering if I should straighten my hair.. Cuz if I do, it might be less coarse than it is now. Hmmm....

Oh my..

My my my my my... Love is annoying isn't it? Who agrees with me?

Anyway, I did this post because I see a few facing relationship problems, where they end up getting disappointed/hurt. I'm one of them but since I'm used to getting hurt, the feeling wears off faster for me ( isn't the ability to move on fascinating? ).

I've this friend who smsed me about his crush, where he went to a gathering filled with the 'upper class society' ( so he calls them ) just to see his crush and she didn't attend it... Sad huh? The story gets more complicated but I'm not gonna elaborate any further.. Poor dude, he was feeling devastated.

Good news is, he's going to stay optimistic and try, try again. Lol. Good for him then x] Isn't that a good lesson for all? I suppose so.

Currently listening to September 12 by Rain... Its somewhat an emo song but I'm attracted to it, dunno why. Maybe cause its related to September ( my favourite month ) and... I dunno. The lyrics kinda suits me in a way =S

Portraits

I've been slacking off a lot! I mean, exams starts on the 30th and I've only covered Chapter 1 of Sejarah.. That's all, poof~ My other subjects are gonna die, especially maths.. Damnnnnn!

Anyway I was on Facebook browsing through some stuff and my eyes now are still a lil blur ( just woke up from sleep and i was smart enough to apply much pressure on my hands who were over my eyes.. ) but... Oh my gosh.. I just saw the most amazing thing ever!

Charcoal portraits! I only held a charcoal pencil once and it didn't really suit my taste cuz, well... I thought it's supposed to be chalkier? ( sorry Ee Leng! )

Total deja vu, cause I woke up this morning thinking I should revise on how to shade based on the 'Drawing For Dummies' book my aunt got me a loooong time ago ( i didn't bother reading it as i'd rather learn art by doing it, not reading it, no? ).

Ah well, I'll check it out later then. Studies later. Right now I need to finish my brunch ( yes! i left it till now! ) and un-blur my eyes. Lol~!

Curry

Curry. Is. My. Sacred. Haven.

I honestly, seriously, tremendously love and adore curry! This is majorly due to my blood-ties I guess? I learnt to eat spicy food when I was around 5 or 6 and was taught by my granny who is half peranakan. Its an addiction I cannot quench because I do mean it when I say I can't survive a week without curry.. ( sugar i cannot live without for 4 days )

Laksa is by far my favourite spicy dish ( its also related to peranakan cooking ^^ ). Others in the chart are curry vegetables ( i dislike eating fish, so i order veg ), tomyam, asam laksa, otak-otak, rendang and many more. Sambal on the other hand, I only eat with nasi lemak and nothing else.

Ok, the reason I'm posting this is cuz I'm craving for curry right now. Also, talking to Yuet May about laksa got me drooling... x]

To those who have not tasted curry out there... Well, its kinda your loss though it ain't late to try it. :]

So Called Holiday

I'm now listing down the pros and cons of this 3 day holiday of mine...

Pros:

1. Get to wake up late. Woohoooo!
2. The honours of goyang kaki-ing whenever I want, where I want :P
3. Don't need to starve myself till late brunch.
4. Can watch any desired show anytime ( so long my dad isn't watching ).

Cons:

1. I've not a single peaceful sleep in 2 months I think. I guess I owe it to the construction site beside my house. Hammering and drilling noises are bad enough, but stupid ****** people who keeps screaming at each other ( more like cursing ) makes it worse.
2. I feel guilty cause exams is less than a month away and I've not started studying... =S
3. The fact I'm stuck at home with my grandma and dad = lots of complains / tension = going back to school less rested.
4. I didn't use my hols on useful stuff T.T aka going out with friends, start taking senior badge, catching up with the latest movies, finishing my so called manga ( can't blame me! still looking for colour pencils ) and etc ( studies not included xD ).

Lol... Sedih betul..

PS, I Love You

is a movie based book by author Cecelia Ahern and film directed by Richard LaGravenese. The storyline is based on the following:

I’ve finally watched it on Star Movies after multiple times of missing it.. Reviews? The story is interesting and unexpected for a drama film ( to me ).. It has a sad yet witty plot that I’m curiously drawn to ( not to mention I cried… call me a softy =P ). I’ve yet to read the book though, but if I were to go anywhere with a bookstore nearby, it’ll be the first book in mind to buy. Hehe.

So anyone out there who've not watched it, go go now!

Yes people, I've finally gotten a Blogger account! I bet the Gods were laughing at me when the coin landed tails... And I bet any one of my friends who're reading this are laughing their asses off. =.=

I'm currently clueless on what to blog about, so I think I'll just simplify what's been going on with my life lately..:

School? is really a bore! All the subs I'm studying does not interest me a bit and worst, exam is coming.

Scouts? has gotten me occupied most of the time = no life. But according to Mr K., being busy in such activities means you have a life.. Er?

Personal life? is no different than usual. It's something I'd rather not talk about..

Anywaaaay ~ I'm still figuring out how to work blogger so need to man man do things la.. x]
